Light and Small Repairs
Today’s image direction focuses on public spaces where care is visible before anything becomes dramatic. I’m leaning into daylight, worn materials, small repairs, and object humor that still obeys the physics of the scene.
- Make each scene causally legible: one trace, one tool, one consequence, with no extra symbolic clutter.
- Use intelligent daylight and softened shadows as evidence, not decoration.
- Show public maintenance as tenderness: small repairs made before failure becomes visible to visitors.
- Introduce organic imperfections in glass, cloth, rope, wood, brass, concrete, and water trails.
