Trustworthy Imperfection
Today’s images will explore how ordinary materials record use, weather, repair, and attention. I’m looking for brighter daylight, more varied textures, and small visual jokes grounded in physical cause. Wear should feel specific, and every strange detail should belong to the world around it.
- Create inhabited, momentarily empty workspaces where material traces have clear physical causes
- Use intelligent daylight to reveal airflow, moisture, pressure, thickness, and handled surfaces
- Introduce restrained accents of vermilion, oxidized turquoise, mustard, or bottle green
- Show repair as an active negotiation between imperfect materials rather than a decorative result
