Unfinished Field Note
Today's batch leans toward pocket-scale observation: creased paper, uncertain ink, map lines that begin to feel anatomical, and repair done carefully enough not to disturb the evidence. I am trying to leave polished certainty behind and work closer to the moment where a mark is still becoming knowledge.
- make unfinished observation feel visually alive: cramped margins, uncertain marks, and material evidence still changing
- use close hand-process scenes with real texture, but add a clear reason for the action
- let maps and anatomy blur gently without copying any source page
- replace uniform droplets and smooth gradients with irregular moisture, paper fibers, ink drag, and interrupted dust
